Lil West returns with the first single off of his upcoming EP with Dmac.
At 19 years old, Lil West is proving to be the next rising star in the game. He’s been putting in a relentless amount of work and has dropped several projects already including his recent project LW17. It was a notable project for West, considering the fact that it was his first major album he’s released. He proved that he’s a beast that can not only fit into the mold of what’s hot but also able to put his own spin on it, distinguishing himself among his peers. While LW17 dropped at the top of September, it’s looking like he may have another project coming out in the near future. Today, he drops his latest single “FMLB” from his upcoming collaborative project with producer, Dmac.
Lil West’s deep voice is straddled by auto-tune on “FMLB” which stands for “Fuck My Life Bih.” Considering today is Friday the 13th, both Dmac and Lil West connect on a haunting track. Dmac brings eerie production to the table with creepy piano pattern that sounds like it was sampled out of a horror movie soundtrack. On top of that, he also layers some heavy 808’s to back it up in contrast to the piano. Meanwhile, Lil West deep, auto-tuned laced voice gives off a demonic feel. Overall, it’s a tough track and a promising single to their upcoming project. It’ll be exciting to hear what else they have to offer.
